Jermain Taylor, perfect example of a boxer with CTE who was on top of the world one minute and sitting in prison just a few years later for shooting someone over something petty. I think Jermain escaped serious time because his lawyer argued CTE was to blame.
Funny thing, you never hear of boxers or MMA fighters getting concussions. Why is that?
I can guarantee that getting a head kick from Crocop, or getting knocked stiff, causes some sort of damage.
I guess it's because they get months off between fights, but that isn't an excuse.
These fighters are Getting there brains turned into scrambled eggs, and I haven't heard a peep about it.
CTE and concussions are probably more prevalent than the NFL, yet nobody seems to notice or care.
In my opinion, that's what you signed up for. At the same time, don't think that we a are stupid, and try to sweep this shit under the rug.
