Given her being (as far as I can see from photographs!) obese, I would hazard that she died from resultant heart disease.

Fortunately for such as you, having a fat head does not mean you will also have heart problems.  But we can all hope, can't we?

Usually when someone dies from heart disease or cancer or something they had that wasn't previously disclosed the family will talk about that person's brave battle with whatever it is
When they won't disclose the cause of death and ask for privacy it often turns out to be something like suicide or accidental overdose or something like that or something they find shameful or that they think would reflect badly on the deceased person
