Contrary to reports stating otherwise last night, there is no deal in place at this precise moment for WWE to be sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund or any entity, sources say.  The organization is still exploring all options, I’m told. Developing.

Vince is 77 now, but had the gate of a much younger man up until age 65. Arguably, he only VERY recently started showing much at all in the way of age.

We can expect more sports related buy-outs similar to the above this year.

I'd like to remind  you all that that the UFC  was recently sold to WME by two brothers (owners of the Station casinos here in LV) for $4 billion (US funds), but many claim that it was actually $4.5 billion.

WME (William Morris Endeavor) is the  management agency for top entertainment (movies, TV, music, etc.) personalities and has purchased other sports related businesses recently.

As an aside ...... Has anyone any inside/outside information regarding the Rock's once upon a time planned ATHLETICON?

All of a sudden those plans disappeared ..... Or am  mistaken?

Sid was an awesome monster heel.  It is just no one seemed to know how to push him properly.  If he had been pushed as a heel with the same intensity of Goldberg or the brief Mark Henry heel stint, he would have been awesome.

CNBC reporting nothing official yet, but they are starting to put together prospectus and putting out feelers in case there are offers. They think maybe NBC/Comcast and Endeavor might be in the running -

That's the best part - they literally took a stormtrooper helmet and bedazzled it - if that character stayed, Disney would have surely chimed in.
