Same with Alexa devices, they say they are not listening to everything but they must be or they wouldnt recognise when you say "Alexa"
The CIA "Vault 7" leaks established this about SAMSUNG tv's years ago. Not sure why this guy has only just mentioned this. There's also the Pegasus software which can be bought by state governments that injects itself into any phone they want. You don't even need to download it through malware: they can insert it into your phone through the masts or through a simple message. If you want privacy: don't use smart anything. The Omagh bombers back in 1997 were being recorded/listened to by GCHQ. Everything is recorded since the 90's in super computers that they deem relevant or has certain keywords. Of course they're listening in.
Don't connect your TV to the interwebs.Don't use Alexa or Siri or similar.Put tape over your laptop camera when not using it.Use a dumb phone.

The smart phone definitely records us. Last week I was describing a migraine I had a few days previous to a few family members and the next day when I logged into Youtube there were videos about "ocular migraines" as my suggested videos to watch. This type of thing happens regularly.
