I’ve absolutely had it with holidays closing down banks and stopping mail. I’ve had it. We’re done with it. So what if Dr. King needed to go to the bank today? What if a veteran needed to do something important at the bank on Veteran’s day? I’m waiting on so much important mail and it messes everything up with no mail today. Nobody appreciates or values the banks and mail closing today. All I saw were people parking in the bank parking lots and eating and then throwing the garbage in the parking lot. I saw people hanging out in the post office parking lot and smoking. I saw people looking irritated and angry when they tried walking into the bank and the door was locked. I saw 1 guy spit on the sidewalk by the door and storm off. These holiday closures screw everything up. Enough is enough. Enough with holidays closing stuff. Enough with time change and daylight savings time. No one cares about the back story and significance of anything. Stop messing up people’s important affairs and errands with this.
