Did you pay more taxes compared to last year?
Of course but it will be for the last time unless I get another telecom job.
How did you pay more in taxes without the $70k salary? At least $14000 of that went to taxes.
Not for me. Already received my refund. A little over 17 grand. Previous years were horrible...owing 6, 7,8 grand. I have a great accountant worth every penny.
In California, how much you pay for electricity will soon be tied to how much you earn: A state law passed last summer requires the California Public Utilities Commission, or CPUC, to approve a pricing structure that incorporates a flat fee with a sliding scale based on income.
Just finished mine a few hours ago....even with Turbo Tax , the tax code is meant to just fuck with business owners.
You can take like 250k in losses per entity and have like 3 different business entities to offset any actual personal income from a job or investments. Additionally, you can depreciate everything having businesses is how you avoid paying taxes.
I wrote this in Feb you know...🙄
You have to file taxes every year though yes?
https://www.cnet.com/home/energy-and-utilities/electricity-bills-in-california-will-soon-be-based-on-income-heres-how-it-could-work/California is going to charge more for electricity based on income... I hope that state goes bankrupt.
Vince, why do you pay for TurboTax like a chump? FreeTaxUSA is the free tax preparer of choice. That’s a pretty lousy accountant if he has your withholding set up like that. Getting a big refund is suboptimal, just means you gave the government an interest free loan for the better part of a year.
Yes....before April 15th. Are you on drugs or something
All to give the fucking illegals cheap electricity. Fuck that state.
I thought this was you for a moment then I realized the cabinets were too nice for a double wide
Just admit that you weren't paying attention to the thread's date you cave dwelling wife beater
