Why are you evading the question of NoPEDsNoBB?
Sometimes I sleep. It's one of my weaknesses.
You've decided to be shitty at me so lets make it worse. I'm a pro mask antivaxxer. Not the paper ones. P3 respirator. You have every right to not wear one as far as I'm concerned but it's not a battle I would have chosen to fight. Probably because I have one on at work 5 days a week and there's no health risk like there is with the injection.
Gym owners had it rough. Restauranteurs, etc. Yes, you can't ignore the gov when they shutter your shop. But we're talking about getting the shots. How many people got held on the ground and injected vs how many complied when they didn't want to?
I don't even have a problem with people who wanted the shots provided they weren't pro mandate (which seemed like the minority). It was the squeezable 60% or so who went along in order to keep their job. They're not off the hook.
When I was under mandate I gave one guy 6 weeks notice of my decision so that he could replace me and I haven't done any work for him since Nov of 21. He was my principal income. I gave another guy notice too. He and all his staff and contractors were super condescending, talk of microchips etc. They ended up begging me to come and do their jobs which I did at an elevated price and I just burned our relationship to the ground yesterday after having worked for him for over 20 years. His behavior toward me during mandates was absolutely a factor.
You and PED can let these people slide. It's fine. I'm not going to. Having your income threatened is not the same as being held on the ground. Neither is social pressure or being banned from shops. These are the measures which got most people to go along but they didn't get you to go along. So clearly there was a choice.
What would I do if I was that guy? Try to adapt. Sell PT sessions in the park to fat housewives. Sell virtual pt. Merchandize Guerrilla Fitness and try to exploit the anti market online if you're already half viral. Or if fitness is locked down then do something else for a living. Be a tree loper. Paint fences. Be a farmhand.
In b4 'Oh yeah well what if you have no skills or abilities and they take away the only thing you can do? Wat then? Huh?' Then you suck and you're screwed so I guess you've got me there.
Respect to that guy for taking a stand. How do you imagine he feels about people who went along in order to keep their job?
