I've been saying people had a choice to not comply.
You said that's wrong. That they had no choice.
As evidence you post a guy who chose not to comply. I'm no lawyer but doesn't that disprove your claim?
I think NoPEDsNoBB is saying that you are making the pandemic mandates out to be like every other insane leftist ideology or even expectation: where we could have just ignored it.
I don't consider having 9-1-1 called on me for not wearing a mask, and potentially risking my safety or my life to be a "choice".
At most stores, you could just not wear one.
Having 9-1-1 called on my was next level.
But the Thunder Bay Police Service will pay a future price for that: the next incident/encounter I'm in with police will result in me stabbing any cop touching right in the fucking throat, the second he lays a hand on me.
The police are aware of this - it's up to them to amend my NICHE computer file with the instructions "Release Canning if he is not being charged."
Otherwise, the next Rogue cop so much as laying a hand on me will immediately be stabbed in the neck.
So there is a price to pay for government overreach, at least when it comes to me personally.
I would have been reasonable [not murderous] even in potential illegal situation with police before. Not anymore. I don't take kindly to fucking cops showing up to a fucking 9-1-1 call over me BREATHING.
And for that, I'll never comply with anything with the police ever again.
