I have few relatives that worked in prisons across the country, from pelican bay  CA, to Rahway prison in NJ, Bertie in NC....to Infamous San Quentin. Ranging from mimimum security to medium to Max. It is all the same, the guards will basically let the inmates police themselves. Only stepping in when completely necessary in order to avoid writing reports when things get taken too far and stabbing/rapes happen or someone dies. For most of us....prison is a choice and it's a money making big industry. From phone payments to over inflated commissary items, it's all a racket. Still....it's a necessity to keep the out of control crazy ones locked up behind bars, it'd be easier and cheaper to just kill them all, but then again where else would the detention officers work and again....in the end, it's all about making money.

Where do I get that it's a money maker? Inmates with HIV cost the state about 10k a month in meds alone. A healthy inmate costs approximately 18k a year. It's a drain on the system. By the way I worked at a state prison. They are babies and u can hardly touch them now. Prison is a joke

I always used to think Canadians were soft. Then I watched the Canadian biker wars documentaries on YouTube and learned about nutters like Apache Trudeau and the bombings they were doing. Full blown street wars and no fucks given about authority/police.
