Are pharmaceuticals less or more expensive in Europe vs. USA?

When it comes to doing weight, the number one thing that has worked is reduce carbs. I barely eat carbs anymore.

Carbs affect your blood glucose drastically, causing massive insulin dumps.

The large swings in blood glucose triggers the hunger response when blood glucose drops.

Your body says "Feed me!"

So you feel hungry often which makes it very difficult to cut your caloric intake.

The joke about feeling hungry again an hour after eating Chinese food is from this effect.

This is why the typical low cal diet is unsustainable.

You are always hungry and that is not pleasant.

Must be a pandemic.  I too started my mostly keto program today.  Only thing I am doing differently is I'm having a cup of berries post training.  Rasberries, blueberries and strawberries.  These 1st two weeks will be the hardest.  I've just been stuffing my face like a pig for far too long.  Probably gonna give the edibles a rest too seeing as how all they make me do is want to fucking eat.  LOL.  What I love about keto is that after the 1st week, I really start seeing progress.

Eat plenty of fat.  Fatty meats, whole eggs, butter, etc.

I know the drill but thank you.  I've done this before.  Before falling off the wagon, I had been on a really good couple year run doing keto.  I need to never let this happen again.

My bad.

I apologize to you.  I re-read my post and I came across as a prick.  That wasn't my intention.  No bad on your part.  I own it.  Sorry bud.

I just ate ground beef, carrots, onions, squash, peppers and broccoli.

Was tempted to pile on the potatoes and pasta but didn't.

Good decision. Carbs to me are the most addictive thing in the world.

Agreed.

Sometimes I will eat some crackers or pita chips but I stay away from the real heavy carbs.

Yes they are. Just finished my second day of keto fasting and already feel so much better.not sure why I got so far away from keto to begin with as I love it. Pissing like crazy which I love just deflating. I get addicted to carbs for the fullness I get in the muscles, pylumos are just crazy and always look full.

Same here.  This is day two for me also.  Today I was a little sluggish.  I know it will get better.  I'm going two weeks before my first cheat meal.

Yeah same for me 2 weeks, it sounds so awesome now but after two weeks I’m like do I even want a cheat meal? Haha.

Sluggish here as well but feel better overall in just two days.

What did you have today?

I had 4 scrambled eggs, 6 boneless chicken thighs,2 hamburger Pattie’s and 3 Atkins shakes.

I work nights, so I am just getting started.  So far I've had a scoop of whey, celery and peanut butter in a shake.  Another scoop of whey, cup of rasberries (not keto but for health reasons) and spoon of olive oil in a shake.  A couple of keto peanut butter cups.  3 hard boiled eggs and a scoop of whey.  I'm here until 5am.  Next up will be a sirloin patty.  Then a chicken breast with a quarter avocado.  Then when I get home before bed I'll have a keto protein bar.  The two shakes I start my day with...one is pre workout and the other is post workout.

I have a friend who is a waiter for a Pappadeux Restaurant in Houston...In the U.S. the economics of the restaurant business is that once the overhead for each diner is  paid, the size of the portions don't have a strong effect on the profit margin.  So the motive is to provide very large portions to give a feeling of getting your money's worth...So the way to exploit this is to eat only half the meal there, then get the rest to go and put it in the fridge then reheat and eat the other portion later or the next day.

You don't want to hear it but give up bodybuilding drugs.  Adult onset diabetes is normally due to weight. Your weight at 5'6" is outrageously heavy.  180lbs is too heavy for that height.  Drug muscle weight is the same strain to your body as being fat in terms of heart health and sugar related issues besides making your blood thicker in terms of viscosity. Your body can only produce x amount of insulin for a given bodyweight. Exceed that weight and high sugar levels will cause havoc. Remember diabetes destroys the heart in time. Lose just 25lbs and see if your sugar levels improve.

Most people have no idea how much over weight they really are. Look at the weight poster they have in doctor's offices.
