Wait, let’s find those lenders that testified that Trump paid back all loans In full with some paid back before notes were due saying they wouldn’t hesitate to do business with him again. Just an fyi, dippy. When you default on debts you’re all but out of business.
Right, maybe if you, Coach or I were to default on debts we may or may not be out of business. Most businesses continue to operate under a Chapter 11 bankruptcy. Also, the larger the business/company, the less likely it is going to fold for nonpayment of its debts.
More to the point, Trump's companies have filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, which means a company can remain in business while wiping away its debts. Trump's companies filed for bankruptcy at least six times. Trump disputes this number claiming he considers the first three bankruptcies as one. Ever heard of alternate realities? Well, this is a good example of Trump's alternate financial reality. I doubt the bankruptcy courts treated those first three bankruptcies as one.

Take for example this case:
"Juan Carlos Enriquez, owner of The Paint Spot, in South Florida, has been waiting more than two years to get paid for his work at [a Trump golf resort called] the Doral. The Paint Spot first filed a lien against Trump’s course, then filed a lawsuit asking a Florida judge to intervene.
In courtroom testimony, the manager of the general contractor for the Doral renovation admitted that a decision was made not to pay The Paint Spot because Trump “already paid enough.” As the construction manager spoke, “Trump’s trial attorneys visibly winced, began breathing heavily, and attempted to make eye contact” with the witness, the judge noted in his ruling.
That, and other evidence, convinced the judge The Paint Spot’s claim was credible. He ordered last month that the Doral resort be foreclosed on, sold, and the proceeds used to pay Enriquez the money he was owed. Trump’s attorneys have since filed a motion to delay the sale, and the contest continues.
Enriquez still has not been paid.” (article written in 2016).
https://nymag.com/intelligencer/2016/06/trump-didnt-pay-his-bills-for-decades.htmlHow does Trump get away with not paying debts? He can afford better lawyers and on-going and drawn-out legal battles better than businesses like the one owned by Mr. Rodrigues.
Honestly, you cannot be this naive as to believe Trump always pays his debts. There is considerable evidence to the contrary. I doubt however that Trump being a 'deadbeat' has any impact on how those who support him will vote in 2024.
