I think many of these polls that suddenly show a huge surge of popularity for Kamala are planned to make her look as if she has widespread support. Similar to how the media can promote some unknown or unpopular candidates but showing them polling artificially high so people can be convinced that "if all these folks support him, there must be something about him" or that it won't be a wasted vote. Obviously the ballot will tell but at this point I don't think most Kamala polls are reliable.
I agree. I think most of the gains are disaffected Democrats who didn't like Biden that are coming back. It's not independents and Republicans moving from Trump to Harris.
Also, the media is doing its job as an arm of the Democrat Party. Just like they did with Hillary Clinton, who had historically bad likability numbers, but still had fawning media coverage.
The more Kamala Harris has to speak about her actual policy positions and speak off script the more people will see just how extreme and dumb she is.
