Compared to most politicians that can't answer a question without reading what their assistant wrote for them.

And how do you know they are reading their answer do they have the answers written down? How do they do this when usually all they have is an overview of the interview? Sometimes the person being interviewed will let the interviewer know in advance what questions they will not answer, but there is no guarantee they won't still be asked.

How do you know they're not? How do you know they don't sit down and practice every line before recording?

Identity politics are not working out so well for leftists.

NEWSMAX
@NEWSMAX
NEWSMAX Correspondent Cara Castronuova took to the streets of The Bronx, New York to find out if Black and Hispanic voters are influenced by identity politics.

https://x.com/NEWSMAX/status/1821543979315249528
I don't agree with this. Of course Newsmax can cherry pick minorities in the Bronx who support Trump but the overwhelming majority will vote for Harris.

Identity politics is what wins today. Minorities and majority women will vote for Harris and men (especially White) will vote Trump. Very few are sitting around at the kitchen table with their family weighing the pros and cons of each candidate's platform.

Of course, I don't know whether or not they do this. How would that be possible.  But to "practice every line" would take an enormous amount of time unless they have photographic memories. This would need to apply not only to the interviewee but to the interviewer.

Here is Stolen Valor Tampon Tim lying about deploying to combat.  He went to Italy and was never in Iraq or Afghanistan as a Soldier.

I don't think Harris should be attacked for choosing not to have kids for being a stepparent, but to the extent she tries to use her role as stepmom to try and give herself some kind of credibility, this is important context.

Laura Powell
@LauraPowellEsq
Timeline of Kamala Harris’s life as a mother

2014 - At age 49, Kamala Harris married Doug Emhoff, who had two children from a previous marriage. Cole, age 20, was in college in Colorado, and Ella, age 15, was in high school in Los Angeles. Their mother, Kerstin, did not remarry and was actively involved in her children’s lives. Harris’s residence was in San Francisco at the time, and as CA Attorney General, her primary place of work was Sacramento.

2016 - In May, Harris had reportedly “recently” moved to Los Angeles. Harris called herself a “Sangelino” to indicate she considered both San Francisco and Los Angeles her homes. In November, she was elected to the Senate. At that time, she was registered to vote in Los Angeles.

2017 - In January, Harris was sworn in as Senator in Washington DC. Harris admitted she was not present for much of Ella’s life at that point because of her work and missed her high school graduation. Ella turned 18 in May and moved to New York City to attend school at the Parsons School of Design and has lived there ever since.

It’s nice that she has a good relationship with her husband’s children, but to put this relationship in the category of “mother,” without qualification, feels disrespectful to all of us who dedicate many years of our lives to caring for our children.

VP Harris said, "A few years later when Doug and I got married, Cole, Ella, and I agreed that we didn't like the term “stepmom.” Instead, they came up with the name “Momala.” In essence, VP Harris isn't being called either mother or stepmother, so where is there any disrespect? She allowed her adult stepchildren to choose what they were comfortable with calling her, which shows she respects their wishes and that is what really counts in the long run. People not a part of their family unit that take issue with this, need to get a life.

Nobody is complaining or talking about what she asked her stepkids to call her.  Except you.

You are missing the point.  It's not about the moniker.  It's about whether she actually performed the role of mom.
