Heard Vivek make a good observation:  Trump is always willing to answer questions from people who might be hostile to him.  Harris is unwilling to do so.  If Harris is unable to have an unscripted discussion with people who might ask her tough questions, how can she be trusted to deal with foreign leaders from places like China and North Korea?

They are confirming Kamala Harris will be a Biden second term (and Obama fourth term).

Official DNC platform document references a 'second Biden term' despite Harris taking over weeks ago

The official platform of the Democrat Party was released Saturday and makes several references to a "second Biden term" despite President Biden dropping out of the race a month ago.

On Monday night, the party will vote on the platform that makes 19 references to a second Biden term.

"President Biden, Vice President Harris, and Democrats are running to finish the job," the 92-page document reads.

On another page, the document says, "In President Biden’s second term, he will continue selecting judges who will protect fundamental rights and who represent the diversity of the American experience."

Further on, the document says, "in his second term, President Biden will continue to support access to FDA-approved medication abortion..."

Roughly a month ago, Biden exited the race after weeks of insisting he was "in it to win it." He faced mounting pressure from Democratic lawmakers and leaders to withdraw from the race due referencing his age and cognitive decline. After announcing his departure on the social media platform X, he endorsed Harris to lead the Democratic ticket.

What 'someone' said about Tim Walz is not exactly correct. True, he does not currently own a home, and his tax returns list no investments.

However, he did hold at least a couple of jobs in the private sector that we know of. Like many college students, it is also possible he worked in jobs not worth mentioning in order to have spending money and pay for whatever supplies, materials and required textbooks. When still a high school student, he worked on what I think was his family's farm. There is also a two-year gap between the time he graduated high school and started college when it is safe to assume he would have worked doing something since his parents were at best middle-income. His father was a retired teacher and school principal and who was terminally ill with cancer, died in 1984 just prior to Walz starting college.

He once worked for a private sector company building tanning beds. He also accepted a position as a teacher with WoldTeach non-governmental organization. He taught t Foshan No.1 High School in Guangdong, China. He and his wife owned a home in Walz home in Mankota, MN. which they sold in 2019 when being elected governor in 2018 and moved into the governor's mansion.
