What you believe is horse shit. The polls as of today show Harris ahead but not enough to offset the plus minus. It will be a close race. I would bet on Harris if odds were offered

You'd also bet on dog shit if it were the Pedocrat party nomination.  FFS MAN.

You might want to reconsider what you wrote - I am commenting on Harris’ polling vs Trump relative to how Clinton and Biden polled. Not what her numbers vs Trump are.  They were more ahead of Trump than Harris.

The Hill - 10 hours ago.

Harris has a 7-point lead over Trump in Nevada — 52 percent to 45 percent — and a 5-point lead in Pennsylvania, 51 percent to 46 percent. In Arizona and Michigan, the vice president has a 3-point edge over the GOP nominee, 50 percent to 47 percent.

Her lead is much smaller in North Carolina, 50 percent to 48 percent, and Wisconsin, 51 percent to 48 percent. The two White House contenders are tied in Georgia with 49 percent support apiece, the survey found.

The majority of Harris’s leads, with the exceptions of Nevada and Pennsylvania, are within the survey’s margin of error.

With Election Day less than six weeks away, Harris has an overall 3-point advantage over the former president among likely voters in all seven swing states — bringing in 50 percent support to Trump’s 47 percent.

When third-party presidential candidates were added to the survey, the vice president’s lead expanded to 4 percentage points. Libertarian Party candidate Chase Oliver was at 2 percent and Green Party candidate Jill Stein was at 1 percent.

Guess this means (according to you) that I am not in my right mind.

Not sure what century you are stuck in, but women in the U.S. have had the right to vote since 1920 when the 19th amendment was ratified. In the U.S. there have been 377 women in the House and 60 in the Senate.  In 2023 there were several thousand women in State Legislatures. Nearly 50 women have been State Governors. Currently, there are around a dozen female State Governors. Presently, ten percent of Fortune 500 companies have female CEO's. About one third of world leaders are women. 93% of medium-sized companies worldwide have at least 1 woman in a senior management position. It has been a long time since all women were barefoot and pregnant, (not worked outside the home). The majority of teachers in the U.S. are women. More than a third of the doctors in the U.S. are women.

Pollak: Seven Questions to Expect from the VP Debate
Joel B. Pollak
30 Sep 2024

Here are five questions to expect — either because the moderators will ask them, or because the candidates will raise them (the debate rules prohibit asking each other questions, as with the presidential debate, but it happened anyway).

1. Vance will have to explain his “childless cat ladies” remark. Vance made the comment in 2021, before he became a U.S. Senator, during an interview with Tucker Carlson. His point was that liberal elites are making policies for other Americans without anything at stake. But he will have to explain the remark, which Democrats have used to portray him as insensitive to women, and to families that do not follow a traditional model, for whatever reason.

2. Walz will have to explain his long history of ties to China. The ABC News moderators did not bother to ask about China during the presidential debate. so Vance might have to bring up the topic on his own. Walz has a particular case to answer: he traveled to China extensively over the years, and has been accused of unusual warmth toward the communist regime. It is unclear why he is obsessed with China, and what that means for the country.

3. Vance will have to explain the “dogs and cats” controversy. The town of Springfield, Ohio, has been in the news because of the migration of vast numbers of Haitians — and because of accusations, later found to be without foundation, that the migrants have been eating people’s pets. The moderators are certain to repeat questions Vance has faced from interviewers over the past few weeks about whether he and Trump are drumming up racial prejudice.

4. Walz will have to explain his exaggerations about his military service. Vance has repeatedly pointed out that Walz embellished his record as a National Guard reservist: he falsely claimed to have carried a gun in combat; he falsely claimed to have served in Afghanistan; and he falsely claimed to have retired as a command sergeant major. Walz has responded poorly to this question on the rare occasions when he has been asked about it by journalists.

5. Vance will have to explain his past opposition to Trump. Democrats love to note that Vance said some of the same things about Trump once upon a time that they say today. His answer has been that he changed his mind based on Trump’s performance in office, and of course Trump knew Vance’s history when he named him his running mate. Still, Walz will enjoy telling America that “even” Trump’s running mate didn’t like him. Vance needs answer.

6. Walz will have to explain his poor performance as governor. The media have praised Walz, but have ignored his record, because it’s bad. Under Walz, Minnesota is basically a cold version of California. Its economy lags behind the rest of the country; residents are leaving, but foreign migrants are flooding in; violent crime has risen; education has fallen; and Walz is trying to end fossil fuels. It’s also a “sanctuary” for transgender surgery for minors.

7. Both candidates will have to explain what makes them ready to serve as president, if needed. Walz is a hitherto obscure governor; Vance is in his first term in the Senate. Both have served in the military; Walz was also a teacher, and Vance also had a career in venture capital. But both have been primarily focused on attacking the other side in the election, rather than on their cown redentials. Both must show they are ready to be commander-in-chief.

These repeated experiences seem to be at odds with polls showing a dead heat race.

Governor Walz is such a poor performer that 52% of the voters in Minnesota, reelected him in 2022, while his opponent only got 44%.

This would be a great point if his reelection was an actual reflection of his performance.  This is like touting Gavin Newsom being elected and reelected as a measure of whether or not he is a successful governor.
