The overall tone of this debate was more civilized than the other 2 and there was no shouting and not so many personal attacks. Vance was much more polished than Walz who seemed scared or shocked at times. Both were better than the candidates they are running for/with.

I agree.

If Republicans had stones, they would refuse to ever do another debate with these hack moderators from CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, etc.

Walz lied about a lot, but one of the biggest was that repeated lie about police officers being beaten to death on 6 January.

Then the MSM would spin it to say they are evading questions. Of course they never say this of Harris.

Yes it looks like Paramount TV is in financial trouble. FOX has suffered losses as well. ABC isn't looking to hot either. More and more folks are switching from cable and satellite to streaming. The entertainment industry has a long history of changes some good and some not good and yet this industry has survived them all.

NBC's Kristen Welker reveals 'panicked' Democrats texted her during debate worried by 'likable' Vance

NBC News' Kristen Welker revealed that Democrats were worried about how "likable" Sen. JD Vance, R-Ohio, came across during Tuesday night's CBS News Vice Presidential Debate.

Welker appeared on NBC's "Today" on Wednesday and confessed Democrats had texted her mid-debate "panicked" over how Vance's performance could turn the tide on his low favorability ratings.

"Sen. JD Vance clearly knew his challenge was to deal with the likability factor. The fact that in our poll, he's the second most disliked running mate in history. So I was getting texts from Democrats panicked, quite frankly, who were saying, ‘Wow, he’s really moderating himself on these issues. He’s the most likable he’s ever been,'" the "Meet the Press" host said.

However, Welker noted that Democrats saw a weakness in Vance dodging a question from Walz about whether he agreed with former President Trump's denials that he lost the 2020 election.

"Yet, that moment at the end where Gov. Walz pressed him on whether he accepts whether former President Trump lost the election and he said, ‘Let’s focus on the future’ — they are going to try to make that into a flash point," Welker said.

"They’re already in the process of turning that into an ad. They believe that is going to be a way to really try to appeal to that very small sliver that is still undecided, but moderate, independent, suburban voters," she continued.

Only because they removed certain conditions from the DSM-5 for the sake of "sensitivity" and "inclusion".
Ah yeah, the old "if electroshock therapy doesn't cure them it must not be a disease" defense.

No surprise from the deranged Cheney family.

Former GOP Rep. Liz Cheney to appear with Harris at Wisconsin rally

Liz Cheney, the former Republican congresswoman from Wyoming, will appear with Vice President Kamala Harris at a rally in Wisconsin Thursday evening, as the vice president seeks to win over disaffected Republicans in the key battleground state.

Cheney is among a handful of prominent Republicans who have pledged to support Harris' bid, but her endorsement, as the daughter of a former Republican vice president and as one of former President Donald Trump's most outspoken critics within the party, is one that Harris hopes to leverage in crucial states like Wisconsin, whose margins are expected to be razor thin.

Harris leads Trump by roughly 2 percentage points in Wisconsin, according to 538's polling average in the state.

If anyone actually watched his interviews, they'd have seen what to expect before the debate.

But the dishonest media and the bubble they've created didn't let them do that.

It sounds similar to what they've been doing with Biden the last 4 years, claiming nothing is wrong, "who doesn't forget/fall every now and then", Biden is sharp as a tack etc., up until the debate where they couldn't dismiss it as fake news anymore and sweep it under the rug.

They are hoping Trump loses the election, MAGA goes away and they will regain their old power in the GOP.

Joe Concha
@JoeConchaTV
CNN's poll of polls gives Trump a nearly 70% chance of winning the election (68.4% to Kamala's 30.9% to be exact).

32 days to Election Day.

Harris-Walz was given almost the full backing of the media

T-ball interviews

Blatantly biased debate moderators

It may not matter...

In between laughing at the false claim that JD Vance was wearing eyeliner at the VP debate, Obama-Harris whisperer David Axelrod said on his podcast that Hurricane Helene’s victims are mainly Trump voters who will find it hard to vote. Affected Democrats from Asheville are “upscale liberal voters, and they're probably going to figure out a way to vote. I'm not sure a bunch of these folks who had their homes and lives destroyed elsewhere, in western North Carolina, in the mountains, there are going to be as easy to wrangle for the Trump campaign.”

Why do they continue to call themselves republicans if they are going to support democrats? It just goes to show you, both sides of the same coin.

You do not have to declare a political party or vote for the party you are registered with in a federal, state, or local general election. One can vote for both Democrat and Republican candidates in the general election. Liz Cheney supports and will likely vote for VP Harris and Walz. Down ticket she could vote for either Republican or Democrat candidates as can any U.S. voter regardless of which state they are in and which party they are registered.

Eric Abbenante
@EricAbbenante
CNN's Harry Enten illustrates what the Electoral College could look like 'If the polls are off' like they were in 2020 and 2016:
Jessica Dean: "What if the polls are off?"
Harry Enten: "Back in 2020 [and 2016], the polls underestimated Donald Trump.
If that happens again: Donald Trump carries all these Great Lakes battleground states. He carries NV, AZ, GA, and NC as well.
He gets to 312 electoral votes.
Bottom line: If we had an era like we did 4 years ago, Donald Trump is going to win this election, Kamala Harris is going to lose."

The Harris Biden campaign put all of their eggs in the Georgia North Carolina basket. Those eggs were washed away by Hurricane Helene.
Kamala's response to Hurricane victims: "You must be unburdened by what has been"
