I`ve been to Daves house and he`s been to mine when I lived in Springfield Mass. me and my then training partner modeled his training clothing for his website.

Tracy being a flight attendant got me reduced tickets to Pittsburgh one year so I could do the Masters Nats.....Dave told me I was 4 % bf for that show.....anyway,my flight got bumped a zillion times and I was stuck in the Atlanta airport for over 11 hours.....I blame Tracy for that!  LOL 

Long story but IFBB judge Sandy Ranalli fucked me over in that show because I arrived late.....as if I could hijack the fucking plane or some shit.   

She didn`t even know me but was f-bombing to me and the promoter Gary Udit.....I felt I had second no problem......out of 8 guys in my class........ I placed 5th.

The really fucked up part was that out of that 8 guys.......they had their bogus top 4 standing on stage,the firstb place guy was awesome and posed just like Makkawy,totally won no problem......then about 25 feet away way way back on the other side of the stage was me and the other 3 guys......normally everyone is in s long line....they didn`t want the crowd to bitch cuz I had second on lock,no fucking doubt about it.

I nevet got any comparisons and I don`t cry sour grapes over placings ever but I got fucked......the overall winner was from Pittsburgh as were the 2nd. and 3rd. place guys in my class.

After the contest Lee Haneys training partner Ty Felder who was a judge, and who probably felt guilty cuz they robbed me told me that he though I placed 5th. due to the 11 hour layover.....I told him no worries and that I would win for sure next year....he said  what`s your strategy for next year.....I said.....I`m moving to Pittsburgh.....he laughed his ass off....he knew Sandy told them to fuck me.

Oddly enough,she did the exact same thing to Dillett in a pro contest.

After that whenever she saw me it was "Hi Tim,it`s so nice to see you back again,you look great".....what a bitch she was.

Yeah we have in the past.....early on Dave did a lot of mega-heavy negatives where you lower an extra heavy weight and your partners raise it for you....point being that you can lower much heavier weight than you can raise thus recruiting normally barely untouched fibers and getting as strong as all Hell.

Then Dave trained on Nautilus and did Mentzers HIT stuff.

The first time I ever saw Dave in the early 70`s, he was doing inclines at the Springfield YMCA.....we had those old York globular dumbells up to 100 pounds.

He was using the hundreds with a bunch of smaller plates hanging off of them where he tied them on with string.
