Why do people back into parking spaces? It's like the people that prefer the under-handed, toilet roll.

Do these people like to make things harder on themselve, or is that the reason we are divided as a people?

Backing in and underhand toilet roll....

Vs. What should be normal, and easy in this world.

Fucking stupid. You park strait ahead, you don't  take ten minutes to back in. And why the hell, after you've taken a shit, you don't take the easiest road to recovery? An underhand roll? Are you fucking dumb? It's more work. It's an awkward position.

You just took a shit, and now you want to do things backwards.....It ain't right.


Park normal. Take normal shits. Maybe that will unite this country.

Well backing in will make it easier to leave so more time in beginning less time later.


Toilet roll makes no difference to me, whatever way it is I’ve never noticed either way.

I drive a crew cab truck, it is way easier to back into a space and then pull out of it when leaving than the other way around. It’s also safer as well, as most large construction companies require you to back into the spaces on a jobsite. I’m sure an insurance company or safety officer has done the proper study to test this theory. Just my two cents.

Why? I would assume more accidents happen, when people try to back in. Yes, maybe easier to get out, but a lot harder to park in.

If you put the toilet paper over and you have a child he will roll that damn thing all the way out all over the floor every time you take your eyes off him.Under prevents this because he has to use a bunch of small strokes because his hand hits the wall the roller is attached to.So the lesson Learned is...don’t have kids?

Not sure if you’ve ever been on a forklift, but the steer tires are on the rear, which makes it pivot better in tight spaces. Backing into a parking space is similar, with the steer tires pushing from the rear. Also, when pulling out, you drive straight out looking over a few feet of hood, rather than backing out blind looking over, in my case, an extra cab and 8’ of bed plus a foot of hitch. Just my 2 cents.

A  friend used to work at 7/11 and was told to watch for cars backing into parking spots as those drivers were the most likely to run into the store and rob the place and run back out for a quick get-a-way.

This actually happened once but the thief forgot to cover his rear license plate and everyone in the store had it memorized  before he got out of the parking lot.
