“Ricky Stanicky is a fictional character used by a group of married friends to blame their misbehavior when making excuses to their wives,” reads the film’s description.
“When the wives become suspicious of never meeting this person, the husbands then find someone to play the fictional character.”
Jointly produced by Paul Currie of Footloose Productions, Thorsten Schumacher of Rocket Science and John Jacobs of Smart Entertainment, the long-awaited movie which marks the return of Farrelly to the R-Rated genre, has sold its worldwide streaming rights to Amazon Prime Video.
