I see a common theme with older BB’s that they very much want to put weight on after losing it.

Putting weight back on seems like it can cause complications for a decent amount of them.

I talked to someone who trained at the same gym as Dave, post bodybuilding.  He said Dave would exclusively do hours of cardio and stretching, totally health focused stuff.

Say what you will about the guy but he takes his health very seriously

I don’t mind listening to him, though he is a lifelong shyster. He appears intelligent and I’m surprised he just didn’t finish his medical degree considering this. Something tells me he regrets not finishing it to dive head first into the disorder and culture called bodybuilding. You can even tell from his body language and condescending language that he might think the men he associates with are morons.

What type of cardio? I think he said on one of his shows that to lose the muscle mass he just did hours on the bike.

Paul Baker did the same after he was in a coma and decided not to compete anymore.  He did two hours stairmaster every day to get his weight down.  Still jacked though.  But not the 300lbs with abs like he was.  Does a lot of stretching as well.  Says he makes more now as a PT and influencer than he ever did as a pro.

Kai is another that hits the cardio and stretching every day in the gym.  Often before working out.

I was doing a contest and attended one of Daves seminars that was held between pre-judging and the actual contest.....you know how long freaking contests go on and on, so I figured I`d check it out to kill time......he was very informative and interesting....a smart guy no doubt.

I`ve seen Dave at a million contests and was even in a contest with Dave once, and I`ve spoken to him briefly quite a few times, though we don`t really know each other.....he  was always cool.

I hope he`s doing good healthwise.

Likely he does now after his health deteriorated so much - through so much self abuse.

When he first stopped bodybuilding he was road biking like miles on miles a day.

Forget how much he spent on a road bike couple thousands but was obsessed with it.
