She is helping solve the shrinking birthrate problem.
Jonathan Swift's "A Modest Proposal" solves this with ease!
A Modest Proposal, in full A Modest Proposal for Preventing the Children of Poor People from Being a Burthen to their Parents, or the Country, and for Making Them Beneficial to the Publick, I first had this read and explained to me nearly 60 years ago by my mother. Her reasoning was that Lyndon Baines Johnson had announced his and the Democrat's assault on personal responsibility by creating what they termed, "The Great Society". Welfare. FTN. I highly recommend it along with the illustrated version by the excellent cartoonist, Gahan Wilson which I saw in an early '70s Playboy magazine.
It is truly hilarious but sometimes uses archaic versions of words, or at least that is what I recall. For example "burthen" is an archaic form of "burden". Highly recommended!
