These days I take only two:

1. Magnesium Glycinate to prevent muscle cramps, promote better sleep and better digestion.
2. LMNT electrolytes for hydration and as a pre-workout energy boost.

My animal-based (fatty meats, whole eggs, dairy) keto diet provides everything else I need.  No need to supplement anything else.

Wes,  I honestly don't know...  like you, never been a great sleeper. Supposed to be great for recovery.  I still take it anyway for the zinc and magnesium.  Usually has B6 or 12.   The one i have now has D3, B6, Folic Acid and L-Theanine.

I would use Magnesium Threonate but it's expensive.

If I was in the US I would go nuts on this site:

Yup, I used to get muscle cramps often at night too, in my calves.  Since I started taking 3 daily capsules of Pure magnesium glycinate several years ago, I haven't had a single cramp since.

Cool,I eat all of the above,except shellfish ....I omit dairy before  I compete but eat a lot of cottage cheese,yogurt,cheese to an extent, and milk here and there....not much though.

I really like shrimp and scallops.

I've noticed when i don't eat dairy products i have better digestion.

The last 2 months i've been trying to do the carnivore diet, but i have found it to be very hard with my work and travel schedule. It has helped me get leaner without much else changing.

I'm all about health these days, not much weight lifting, but i try to train 2-3 days a week. Lots of hiking and biking on the weekends.

My fingers and toes actually lock up and I have to use the uncramped hand to pull my fingers apart.

As far as my toes go,I have to get out of bed and stand putting my bodyweight on them.

On that note, I also add/sprinkle cayenne pepper powder on just about everything I cook.
Regular salt, lite salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and Italian herbs blend/combo in my pasta sauce or chicken stir-fry......

I take a tumeric supplement.  Haven't had sore joints since.

Fish oil

Occasionally I'll take a CoQ10 (ubiquinol) supplement.  But it3costly so I only use it when I come across a good deal.

I take a hi-tech supplement called liver RX. It's mainly milk thistle but has NAC, and ALA and actually costs less than standard milk thistle.

I take a prostate supplement which is mostly  saw palmetto. Last time I had blood work done that was the only marker that was a tad out of range.

Recently started a prebiotic, probiotic, post biotic formula only because a 3 month supply was given to me. But what the hell apparently gut health is super important.  So we'll see.

Over the years I've used just about every supplement available.

For those not sleeping.  You can look up Somatomax. You'll sleep like a baby and feel fucking fantastic the next day. BUT be careful.  The main ingredient is phenibut the shit is addictive. If you use it too many days in a row you have to use more and more to get the same effect.  And if you use it every day you will feel like crap when you stop taking it.

isnt turmeric amazing? I had to crawl when I got out of bed,...thene 30 days after starting turmeric I had zero pain, I still cant get over how well it works

100% agree. I went through a few bottles because I kept reading all the benefits including anti inflamatory. After a couple of weeks all my joint pain went away. It had been getting pretty severe in my shoulders (from benching like a dumbfuck).

I honestly thought 'well it could be a coincidence.  Maybe they healed because I stopped benching or whatever.. " after running out of turmeric the pain came back after just a few workouts. Picked up more turmeric and presto. Joints feel great again. It's a staple now. A must really

Turmeric 95. You can buy it online for 20 - 25  bucks. 60 servings. Ive checked the dosage and price point with other brands and it's a decent value. Though NOW may have a cheaper option iirc it was dosed lower.

95% curcuminoids. 500 mgs daily.
