Nattokinase - Anti-Atherosclerotic
« on: March 08, 2023, 02:26:32 AM »
For those like JWB who might be interested.

https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6043915/

Although Chang believed that the natto extract suppressed intimal thickening through a synergistic effect attributed to its antioxidant and antiapoptotic properties, other study demonstrated that NK prevented arteriosclerosis by its direct antioxidant effect leading to reduced lipid peroxidation and improved lipid metabolism

6000 FU's of this is whats been shown to reduce atherosclerosis. (So I take 3 pills of this brand at the moment).

Is there an English translation of that report?

Something a 5th grader could understand?

Im sure Govt and Big Pharma will come after Natto now.
Maybe thats why I got rid of RONA in a day like a mild cold?

I take 12000FU a day of this stuff. (6 caps).

4. Conclusions
In this study, we demonstrated that nattokinase, a serine protease, degrades the S protein of SARS-CoV-2. To investigate whether nattokinase contained in natto extract could inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection, we analyzed S protein degradation by mixing the S protein expression cell lysate and nattokinase in a dose- and time-dependent manner. The RBD of the S protein binds to the membrane-distal portion of the ACE2 protein. Natto extract has been reported to inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection in Vero E6 cells via RBD degradation [16]. We demonstrated that S protein degradation by nattokinase was blocked by heat or protein-inhibitor treatments. Our data suggest that the protease activity of nattokinase plays a crucial role in S protein degradation. Taken together, these findings support the notion that the inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 infection by natto extract was due to S protein degradation by nattokinase. Thus, our data indicated that nattokinase and natto extracts have potential effects on the inhibition of SARS-CoV-2 host cell entry via S protein degradation.

I started taking 4+4 (16k units daily) caps after I read Dante's post on it on his IG. It's cheap and seems very relevant to PED users. A 2022 study showed it managed to reverse 30% of plague in a few months if I remember correctly.

Yeah, the studies appear that way. I take 2-caps, 3x a day for 12K Units.
Keep an eye on your bloods if you are also taking an aspirin. The combo can thin it out (blood) big-time...

Theres nothing on the market proven to reduce plaque. Why are you mega dosing anti-coagulants? Do you have a high calcium score?
