I don't see how his calves could be fake. No implants look that good especially back then. Every current pro with shit calves,  and there's a lot of them, would have implants too if they looked so good

exactly.   that dr. would have done the entire pro line up for decades since. 

and did Arnold get them removed when he got skinny in 77 and then have re-implanted for 1980 and of course twins?

I was watching a John Hanson podcast on YT,and someone who knew Arnold really well......he was a well known bodybuilder himself, but it escapes me at this time, said Arnold "bought" his calves in Mexico.

I hate to think this is true cuz Arnold was an early inspiration, but this guy was deadpan serious.

I`ll try to find out who said it ???

The guy had relatively high but round calves from the start, having 16-17 inch calves at age 17 is by no means weak. Ali had similiar calf shape, not very thick but have roundness and depth. Some people have good shape and size with relatively short muscle bellies, Albert Beckles for biceps, Boyer Coe has good triceps but lacking one topic head relatively. So Arnold had a unique potential in his calves.

I’m sure you can find lots of funny threads here about John Hansen when he used to call himself the natural Olympia.

Arnold always had decent calf genetics.

He just barely trained them until he went to England for his first NABBA universe.

After that he worked them hard.

I don't buy it. They could do calf implants that good in the 70's but they can't today? Wolf Valliere all these modern guys that have/had sticks calves wouldn't get them? Dexter tried oiling his up and they looked dumb. He would have just got implants

No,it was an  original guy that trained at Golds when Arnold did.
