Maybe I'm just stating the obvious here, but this wasn't actually a skit about race/blacks.

It was about wanna be rappers trying to sell you their mix tape/CD on every street corner. They were incredibly annoying back in day.

Modern day equivalent would be "charity "workers on the street in vests who try to get you to get sign up to giving monthly donations. I'm crossing the road every time I see them.

I`m not from NYC but I always watch my back and stay ready..........even now, I live in a rural area,I don`t trust anyone.......I`m far from being paranoid at all.....it`s just the way I learned to be coming from where I grew up.

Old thinking was “move to a good neighborhood,” which really meant “move to a white neighborhood.” But it now doesn’t matter where one goes. School shootings can happen in any town and dindus are bussed to schools outside of their districts and can socialize in any town.

Even white liberals use these terms: “good towns,” “better schools,” “low-crime area.”

Example of nowhere to hide, even for liberal Manhattanites.
