You should have eaten clean foods through your entire prep........let me explain what clean foods are to you since you don`t seem to have a fucking clue:
PROTEIN
skinless boneless chicken breasts.....NO BREADING
turkey
eggs and eggwhites
fish.....tuna and canned tuna,salmon,tilapia,cod,etc. fuck that canned shit...fuck tilapia
lean beef....most eat once a week or so,though not everyone does people advocate salmon but the are told to limit beef...never made sense...especially lean beef. I always ate 85 - 90%
Carbs:
baked potatoes
yams/sweet potatoes
rice
oatmeal
cream of wheat or rice nasty ass shit that people eat to punish themselves
fibrous vegetables.....and salads fuck salads...just take metamucil...I would only eat veggies if I just needed to eat something
fruit (some people omit fruit due to the sugar content) nothing beats sweet potatoes and bananas....but the only other fruit I did was apples, pineapple, and watermelon
FATS:
olive oil
natty peanut butter it doesn't matter if natty or even peanut. you're looking for the fat...thats all
any trace fat found in the clean foods listed above
There are more but these are enough to school you on.
You should eat these throughout the day....day after day 6 meals a day so you can add in or omit food to make subtle changes to your physique....DAY AFTER DAY 7 DAYS A WEEK !!
Most people take out dairy products and any processed foods such as bread,candy gravy....you know all the shit that you always eat.
Most do cardio after training or in the AM upon awakening or twice daily.....it all depends...some don`t do any. fasted cardio is again bro science BS
Your diet should be anywhere from 10-20 weeks depending on how lean you are to begin with......dropping fat slowly and taking in enough protein to retain muscle mass....some guys will even build more muscle when on gear.
That`s enough basic shit....copy it down for your next show.
I agree Krank....everyone does it differently.
Beef......just more calorie dense,so people eat it sparingly as they attempt to make a weight class or to simply keep calories low......I personally don`t eat much of it when prepping......to each his own.
For me,I drop fruit entirely.
I love cream of wheat but opt for oatmeal.
I take metamucil all the time,especially when prepping.
I never do fasted cardio....just put it there cuz others do and swear by it.
Fuck regular PB....tastes like pure grease or solid fat once you are used to eating natty PB.
