Rotten could be a bit of a one trick pony personality-wise (I also saw them for their reunion 90s tour and while the music was great he was still railing against "hippies" lol, almost a parody).....but it was a damn good trick and caught and helped propel the zeitgeist of the time - Anger is Indeed an Energy Mr Lydon
They were together from the beginning so its sad for him, alzeimers is tough. Hopefully he doesn't spill over again like he did a few years back
