His knees were ruined years ago from wear and tear so he can't walk 18 holes and his recent car wreck also messed him up.

In addition he over-practices by hitting too many balls which further aggravates his body.

He's still good but not good enough to run with the young guns.

At 47 years old he is an old dog.

No sympathy. These guys go out there without any protective gear whatever. It's just irresponsible macho jock mentality and it sends the wrong message to the kids.
