I'm glad that Kwon posted a video featuring Thomas Sowell - he has spoken extensively about how businesses leave Black areas, and how racism is blamed for it after the fact [and is blamed even while they are operating].

I would agree that Chicago's insane current government is in large part to blame.

From what my friend told me, Chicago is a massive city. I'm assuming these store closures are all in the city's south side.

You have to incentivize businesses to operate in bad areas, low taxes and regulation. The Democrat approach is the exact opposite.

One up north, one out west, two down south.  The only one in a bad neighborhood I’d say is kenwood, maybe Chatham too.

I’ll say the Little Village was a smaller Walmart with limited selection and was in an out-of-the-way location.  I was always surprised it was still around. Either way, there’s plenty of discount stores in those neighborhoods so I don’t think it’ll be a big loss to the community
