You obviously know nothing about the military. Which is really par for course for you on here.  Age, rank, time in service makes no difference on whether or not you have access to classified information. What makes a difference is if your job in the military requires you to have that clearance and that you've passed the background investigation. Having a job in Intelligence is a good example.  You don't have to be a Four Star General to have access to this info.     There are 19-20 year olds with top secret clearance access.

Coach, a relative of mine was in the Air Force and worked on nuclear guidance missiles at a young age. He told me many interesting stories and even showed me some photos. They were classified at the time when he was in the Air Force, but probably not anymore. The point being he had classified clearance in his early 20s.

Another matter is "need to know."  Just because someone has a security clearance doesn't mean he can access all classified material at their level of clearance.

As a nuke I had a secret level of clearance in my department but I couldn't access secret data that other departments had.
