Best interview about steroids/drugs I've heard.

Lynch is very well informed and smart.

He seems to have just internalised every broscience meme of the past 20 years, for better or worse. Like being scared of salt, thinking fruits are "natural" after they've been engineered to have a drastically higher sugar content, being "plant based". But at least he has given up highly processed foods. But if he stays on that plant based diet he is going to need heavy supplementation to avoid new health problems.

Saw Lynch a few year's back at a festival with Lynch Mob.   They kicked ass.

He tells it like it is

That he does.  Today's "bodybuilder" relies upon drugs more than any other time in history.  I used to go to the original Gold's during the "competitive" season and off-season.  The champs looked like us during the latter.  Even Arnold.

They were dedicated but not stoopid and they also had no idea what constant-never-take-a-day-off use of drugs might do to them.  And most of them lived longer lives than what we see these days from today's chumpions.

I did NOT begrudge my friends that took steroids and they admitted it was the "difference" not broscience of "genetics" although those like Arnold and Oliva did have greater potential on drugs than many others.

The top guys today refuse to acknowledge that drugs built them and claim to be "natural" or  just clam up when asked. Fuck 'em.

Top-right is Jake E. Lee, not Lynch.

George was modestly geared for a brief time in the later nineties. He doesn’t have great bodybuilding genetics and isn’t a terrific responder.

He did suffer health ramifications.

Lynch is in my top 10 of all time. Extraordinarily gifted and unique guitarist. His refocusing on weight training messed with his playing on several fronts.

Thankfully he got back to being a dedicated musician. When he is on (on his instrument), the man truly becomes Mr. Scary. In a sea of technical shredders, Lynch stands tall.

Dude needs to ditch cigarettes, though. Smoking and sun have severely aged him. The mountains of coke he huffed in the eighties doesn’t help.

P.S. My collection of CDs on which Lynch appears is probably as complete as anyone’s, anywhere. I’d imagine I own north of 60.

Of the 80s guitarists he was one of the best.

He actually had a workout \ diet section on his website back in the late 90's. Pretty cool and he was a monster guitarist.

Fair enough, I believe he peaked during the Beast From the East era from a technical standpoint. At that time, he had the seemingly rare ability to combine monster chops while still being interesting and unique. I also preferred his lead tone back then as well, similar to Warren's, but more ballsy.
Mr. Scary, indeed.

Did the gear cause his health problems or the mountains of cocaine he washed down with gallons of vodka chased with handfuls of narcos? Or he's the one guys from the 80's that didn't do all that stuff yet hell do steroids

Do you still pay the price if you don't gain much?

I am seriously disappointed in the results of steroids. Am a weak responder,I gain very similar with natural heavy eating and training.

Good thing I won't be using them much.

Are you sure they're real and dosed properly. Gear works. Big time

Maybe for you,but not all people respond the same I reckon.

My gear was mostly legit pharma. Original pharma test bought at the pharmacy here - 1500mg did not turn me into a monster. Turkish pharma Anapolon 100mg neither. Neither did 30mg dbol. Some small gains but nothing drastic. I guess I would need to take tons which I'm not prepared to do.
One thing I should point out that I am really as big as I could get naturally ,~250 at 6'3 training strength for 20 years on/off before trying AAS.
