Worse still he got his orbital bone broken and lost his peripheral vison from that. He had his other orbital bone broken by fatass Mabel years prior and didn't know it at the time and kept working for a little while. Went he finally went to the hospital he found out his optic nerve was resting on a piece of bone and one wrong move and his eye could have popped out of his head.
Taker has some legitimate extreme pain tolerance. Got both orbital bones broken and kept going, went into the Hell In a Cell match with Mankind with a broken foot, worked a match with a torn bicep, that time the pyro went off wrong and he got hit by a fireball that gave him 2nd degree burns before the match even started, etc.
Was supposedly a Hell's Angels leader too. There was another wrestler doing a shoot interview(can't remember who) - and the guy didn't even like Taker too much - who oversaw a showdown in a bar between Taker and two other guys basically the same size as him and he dropped both guys in a row with one punch a piece. Taker was one of the legit though guy wrestlers like the Steiners, Meng, Steve Blackman, etc.
