Mohammad Makkawy He beat Zane and Haney in 83, He beat Dickerson, Oliva and Bannout in 84. But rightfully lost to Bannout in 83 and Haney in 84.

But it could be Roy Callender as well.. he beat Larry Scott, Bannout, Dickerson and Oliva. But lost to Columbo in 81 and Arnold in 80. (Arguably could've beaten either those years) Arguably could've beaten Zane in 80 as well but lost to Haney soundly in 84. So he competed against 8 mr. O's and went 4-4.

Beat Ronnie, Dex, Jay or placed ahead of them but lost to Dorian although I don’t think he ever was close to peak Ronnie.

Using (more) recent guys is a little different.

Cutler lost to Ronnie, Dex and Heath and also beat all 3.

Shawn Ray .... was beaten by Dorian in 1996 and have been called uncrowned by many fans to this day (It was only that Olympia that carried the controversy, so I apologize for that.

He was beaten by Haney fair and square in 88 where he placed out of top ten
He never beat Dorian or Haney ...Other than that he beat anyone he faced on the Olympia stage which is impressive by any measure

Larry Scott made a comeback in the late 70's. Larry didn't look too bad training leading upto the competition.  Seemed to put size back on his arms easily enough but tried to match the condition of the newer bodybuilders and lost alot of muscle. Looked flat. This was the 1979 Diamond cup, won by Roy. Larry placed out of the top 10,  I believe.
