Slayer or Metallica?

Even though I'm Christian I like Slayer, I may not like the lyrics but i like the adrenaline rush. I feel Slayer is better than Metallica and Megadeth

Ill take Slayer... Loved early Metallica, huge drop-off/disappointment after that...

Slayer stayed pretty true to themselves throughout... Reign in Blood, South of Heaven are basically Metal greatness...

Gaytallica had 4 good albums and the 5.98 EP - Black album had a few good songs, since then, its been mostly garbage.

Yes, those are 2 of the 4.

Puppets is probably one of the top albums of all time.

SC is right though, after the Black Album, it was shit, but lately it's been better, but nothing that's really epic, except maybe "All Nightmare Long".

I remember getting this album as a kid ans was just blown away by the sheer ferocity, power, speed, and precision.   Still amazing to this day.   Black Magic riff is still head banging glory

I agree, i still like metallica, megadeth, but slayer is a whole nother level imo

I do like slayer..not necessarily the lyrics though...good lifting music megadeth over Metallica for me though
