I am not rolling around in the mat at 45 years old for an hour and a half a day. I wrestled as a kid and my focus was on throws and slams from the feet. BJJ is all on the mat it is a defensive style for smaller weaker opponents it is for small kids and women. Once you an are grown you should already know how to grapple you can’t learn that shit in your 40s. All you are doing is twisting your damn joints and reducing your lifting gains it serves no purpose he is 35 years too late. Size and strength are what matter when you are grown he couldn’t take me down if his life depended on it making all his bjj training completely useless. I would slam him on his head if we met on the mats and it would be over.
