I think I would just kill the brand and come up with something new, even if it is the same formula.

Kevin O'Leary should STFU and be more concerned about managing his own "brand".

Blackrock/vanguard own Bush, they don't care if they hurt the brand,  they have so much money and power that losing a few billion is penny's to them, for them it's worth the cost to try and manipulate society

The main goal here is dehumanization, destruction of the middle class,  destruction of america

That wasn't his point though.

His point was, if you're going to take a "political" side, you have to own it, and analyze the effects if things go wrong.  And also, be ready that you're going to alienate.

He also emphasized that there has to be a clear understanding of who owns the brands and the messaging around it.

He promoted a scam (FTX) then doubled down saying he'd work again with the scammer (SPF)

When everyone gave him shit this was one of his responses

"You may lose your wife, you may lose your dog, your mother may hate you. None of those things matter. What matters is that you achieve success and become free. Then you can do whatever you like."

His own "branding" is worse than Bud light right now.

I don't drink and I'm not American so you're most likely right here.

But I wouldn't be surprised if in the long run Bud light doing a 180 on wokeness ends up working in their favour. Consumers get to feel like they got a win.

Which has absolutely nothing to do with the context of the video posted.

I try to comment based on the merit of the conversation, and don't dismiss people making correct points because they may have been wrong on other things.

His points in the video were straight up common sense/ good business, something that can get lost even at the higher levels of corporations.

This mistake, in particular, was so egregious on multiple fronts that he's going to use it a source material for a college course.

My post didn't address the content of the video  (I didn't even watch it) It addressed the individual making them. I stand by it.

O'Leary should stfu and get his own house in order first.

The tranny push is getting stronger -

The best one was a pop up ad for RV camping I had this week - it had a black handicapped girl in wheelchair, a pair of gay guys, a lezbo couple, a tranny, a fat girl, and a bunch of mixed couples grilling around a campfire at sunset. I thought it was a joke, they had laughing me so hard.

I can't find it now, but it was done by these guys - https://www.rvia.org/news-insights/go-rving-releases-new-away-videos-reach-diverse-audiences .

They make decisions  that alienate consumers.  When they are "political" they are de facto picking a side.

However, yes, companies don't give a shit about politics, they care about making money.  Trying to jump on the dylan person bandwagon was just a move to try to sell more beer, but the tone deaf VP of marketing made a shit move.

it's way too soon to decide if it's a shit move or not, profits aren't measured in weeks
