They gave me one week of perca post surgery I am not taking anything right now although will be taking antibiotics later today for infection. He said the actual hernia repair looks good but yeah the side incisions are infected

When I had my double hernia, the doctor did not put a mesh in. He said once he got in, he would see what was up. He decided against the mesh as I was only 20 and my stomach muscles appeared to be rather strong--I just did overdid it with squatting and deadlifting. Going on 22 years later, no issues. I like that he was cautious and didnt put in a foreign object in my body unless he thought it was 100% necessary.
