Dr. Goodrum, PhD, CSN, MFT, HPP, CEO, how much did you sell it for? A cool 10 million?
The auction was a buy it now for 10,000 and a reserve price at 1000. It ended at $1045....still better than I expected as the site hasn't produced any real revenue in a few years. I ignored marketing it because it was my ex's website I build for him and I was going to just let the domain expire. I'm now selling some of my first pre-made websites. I've been buying old expired domains and rebuilding them with a new design. You'll notice the difference from my sites because I have to actually make them look modern and sleek unlike the old designed ones. I have a sports betting platfrom at https://cybergamesonline.com, and I'm just about finished with https://homemortgagesdirect.com. I've have archived the design to where if I need it again, I can just unpackage the site , do some minor changes to make it difference and just sell it under a diffeant name in mere minutes.
It sounds like you took 240’s idea to the next level.

I'm also building a Trump PAC site with a cool name and design, you guys will love this shit. 240 was good a making Flash websites with intro music which was very popular at the time and I had him design the logo for Caliber Fitness back in the day. The problem with his websites and I told him this, is that while they looked awesome, there was no backend for running ads or to have a ecommerce store which would have to be installed and added on a sub-domain which added to someone's headaches. I built the standard CSS website and got my templates from AllWebCoDesign around that time. They are still in business selling the same CSS websites. None of 240's Flash websites would run today because the medium was discontinued.
Vince goes straight to business. Have you considered doing webpage consulting, for example how they can improve their backend?
I dont do much consulting but i have. Some dont like my moniker "crappy looking websites make more money" . The idea is that people have more trust in websites being in operation for years and you have to look the part. A lot of it is simplifying their site, removing wasted space and giving a minimalist type site. The less stuff thst people can be distracted from, the higher the conversion because all they have is the product to focus on
So does that mean you are upgrading from a single to a double wide adding a carport?
