It seemed like they picked Kamala to line her up as Biden’s successor, they were even calling it the “Biden-Harris administration” for a while, something I’ve never seen before.  They must not have done their research though because she’s been an unmitigated disaster from day one.

I read a rumor that the plan/hope is to have Feinstein step down, Harris gets appointed to replace her by Newsom, and Gov Whitmer serves as Bidens running mate.  Seems logical but I dunno if Feinstein or Harris will play ball.
