I actually just sent that video to my orthopedic he wants to see how it is healing up. The main difference is food I am not currently pushing food. If I started pushing food I would be 230lbs in a week with no changes to gear or supplements. The chest is healing up nice. I want to say somewhat lean to see how it heals up.

More importantly the stomach has not had any acid reflux, indigestion, pain, bloating, or gas or diarrhea or constipation or anything. I have been drinking 3-4 cups a coffee a day as well the stomach is fucking bullet proof these days. As such I fully expect to hit 240lbs within a month of resumption of training and upon the initial bulk. I will be hitting all new PRS in everything this next year.

So, by all means talk shit while you can. I am going to own this place this time next year.

Brian proves that muscle and tissue will not disappear the moment one stops training for a bit.
I had to laugh, when I mentioned to my buddy at breakfast last week, how I am taking a week off from training, he said:
"Make sure to keep eating, you shouldn't lose that much if you keep calories high-ish". And this guy's a long time Powerlifter.
I could go on a 7-day water & apple fast, and I won't lose anything in a week. (Some "temp bloat" yes, that's about it).

Correct you have had the tissue for 20 plus years it's not going to just disappear in a few weeks. What you do lose is also going to come back quickly. Muscle Memory is very real.

Stick with what? Dude is a friend on my facebook and post physique and training updates almost daily. No one is examining his repaired pec and recovery more closely than me. Is it perfect nope. Is it a lot better and stronger than it was a year ago when he has the surgery hell yes. Can I see the difference in his before and after pics? Yes absolutely. Can I see the tear in his contest pics yes absolutely. Can you see it now? Only if you know what you are looking for can you see the repair. I can see it. I doubt anyone else can. It looks just like mine. I would expect to recover at the same pace and have similar results at 1 year.  Can I ask him a question about it at anytime and expect a response yes yes I can. We talked about it extensively already

From his facebook today on the right is current form. I can see where the repair was but it looks a lot better than it did prior to the repair. On the left is 8 years ago but before his tear. If you look at his other pics you can see the tear in old pics and you can see the repair area if you look closely at the new one. It looks a lot better

More importantly he says he is stronger after the repair and can train harder without fear of another tear

Your real weight is around 180lbs, drop the drugs and all the gatorade and junk food and you would be down at 180 in 6 weeks

Lol so despite weighing 216lbs on empty in the morning and 220lbs after a meal and some fluids I am really only 180lbs sounds about like Jeffs typical logic. And this is when not eating much or training and recovering from surgery. This is below my normal weight yet somehow Jeff has me at 40lbs lower lol I mean can you say Hater???? You do realize I am going to add 10-20lbs in about 3-4 weeks once I start training and eating proper? Dont worry it's going to be a few months but you are going to be real mad

I look 216 to me. I wrestled for decades. I am real good at telling someone weight apparently you are not. But again this is light weight I am not pushing food training or supplements right now.

Right 220 is really 180 you are an idiot. How mad are you going to be when I actually start training eating and put some weight on? I was a solid 235 before my hernia surgery. I have now fixed my digestion I am going to get a lot bigger when healed up.
