I wore a lifting belt for the first time in a loooong time......tucked a folded washcloth into the left side where it hurts the most and had no problem.

Stopped to pick up some milk,stepped out of the car and felt the usual stabbing pain.....but it does seem a bit better.

9/10 sets working up to 140kg

T bar row - parallel narrow grip
8 sets up to 120kg

Pulldowns to front medium/ wide grip
7 sets

Tricep reverse grip press down
6/7 sets

Neck work

Gym was roasting hot & humid  - so that was enough for today.

His quest to be a bodybuilder is now left behind him, he hasnt failed of course, that could never happen in hanky world.
He has now chosen to grace the stage of stupid curl events because he doesnt have to really do anything to compete apart from eat like shit and fuck around doing 3 bicep workouts a week, although to be fair that was pretty much all he did before anyway.


He also has totally forgotten about everything that he has posted over the last two years and wiped his mind clean of all the failures like they never happened.

Brian, could you explain how you edited the slow motion effect and seamlessly incorporated the music into the video?  Including the loud re-racking noise when you drop the curl bar down at the end of the video is impactful. Is there an app you used? I'm impressed with your video editing skills. They enhance what is already a remarkable feat of strength!

I’m glad you took getbig’s advice and started to downsize.

Being 220+ is not for your structure/body weight.

I’m happy to see you trimming down to 180 lbs.

The only shitty is thing you will need to get new clothes as your current wardrobe is 2 sizes too big.

The motion starts in the extended position people tear biceps on things like preacher where they start contracted and then hyper extend with too much weight. This is not a lark Arnold who had some of the best biceps ever and he did a lot of cheat curls and cheated a lot more than me. He would actually come forward to initiate the motion and deliberately swing back. My lower back is stiff I am staying as straight as possible. This overloads the biceps and will better prepare me to strict curl heavier as it gets past the sticking point. Heavier curls = bigger arms

No, dont be daft, heavier curls do not always equate to bigger arms. Your doing very little for muscle growth here and you can pull a bicep in any way.

Yes absolutely the wall is harder I would say what you can get for 3 reps cheating you should be able to get for 1 with the wall. But again I am barely cheating I could do more if I did what Arnold was doing

I am about 225 in the video taken around 9pm  if you want to pretend I am fat that is fine. I am 220lbs in the am these days with abs. I am competing in the 220lb weight class in July by all means post a video of you curling 165lbs for 3 reps I will wait.
