First day in gym since last Wednesday , sore all over from posing on Saturday

Lots of sets of stretching and full range movements on back and biceps.
legs tomorrow and one more upper body session on Wendesday then rest until show day Saturday

Week off training after that , will probably compete one more time next year then thats it for me.
I cant compete with the top guys and Im not killing myself trying.

If I stay on a TRT dose and keep a bodybuilding lifestyle I can stay big and lean year round. Not looking like I do now though but strong.

But I have other interests like being fit and yoga, health and longevity etc.

many gym bros claim you can maintain size on 1 mg of test per pound of bodyweight

500 mg is a good hrt dose.

One board member here uses that for HRT as everyone’s bodies needs are different.

I will stay on TRT (200mgs 10 days to 2 weeks) and maintain around 200lbs in good condition

I came off completely when I stopped in 96 and didnt take anything at all and weighed 200 year round, my BF % was obviously higher but I always looked decent

that's about what i am at for dose.  when i don't procrastinate on shot day for a week or two.  but i do get in at least 200 mg per month.  i know its not good to be inconsistent but
i'm so fuggin lazy.

Power clean & press - 22 sets of 5 (clean and then press 5 times):
- Warmup sets to get to top set weight, about 5-7 sets
- 5 rep top set
- Drop 10 lbs and do 5 reps
- Drop 10lbs and do 20 sets of 5 reps
Barbell rows - 3x12-15

I think you got me down for 330 lbs. After 18 months down with the shoulder injury (and no benching), I don't think I want to try to get back there.
(I tore it with 355, but hey, the rep was successful)  ::)

I dont want to chase Matts numbers, he's stronger than I am. (I like the whole "Me vs. Me" thing though, always have. Never chased others).

(Unstable/frozen shoulder). But I think if I just add a 10 per side and go for 335, I'll be OK with that.
At this age (57) and this weight (198) I'm OK with my numbers... I might focus on getting the 500 on DL and SQ again.
(Just started back (for real) with those lifts).

While I do love strength and pushing myself, ive become fond lately of training injury-free. Its kind of nice...

If Im feeling it on THU I will record my 335 attempt... (Wearing a BHanks mask of course)...
