Yeah,I called for some anti-biotics cuz the quack that diagnosed me said he would prescribe some for me if I needed them.....now they tell me I have to come back and have all the tests done again in order to receive them..............fuck that,fours hours of waiting for these inept idiots to run the same tests.....if he had half a brain he would have just provided me with some the day I was there.

I`m taking Morphine Sulfate for pain....so far took half a tab two times....I`m allergic to Opiates as well as Sulfa medicines so it alleviated the constant pain a bit, but it makes me sweat and feel nauseated.....what a tradeoff.

I`m going to another place (walk in urgent care) closer to me recommended by another doc I talked to.

Wes, I’d suggest treatment of AP with morphine exacerbates the disease. I don’t think there would be an advantage to opioids over non-opioids for AP pain relief. In fact, you are most likely going to find out that what you have been prescribed worsens the severity. The morphine is delaying resolution and regeneration.

Go see a specialist immediately.

Today was pull back and biceps

No strength or performance increase today

Shit sucks fucking ass

Did a little biceps volume work (oh brother) at the end

From experience it seems my arms need a bit more volume than my delts and torso

So I gotta do what works for me

You cannot expect strength increases each workout, sometimes I get stronger for 3-4 workouts then I’m staying the same for 10 workouts. Strength and size don’t just keep coming.

Though I agree with what Rob said, you might make better strength gains if you upped the reps.  Improving on a 4-5 RM requires a pretty huge gain.  I know you train strict and all, but you could probably eek out extra reps more consistently if you were working in the 8-12 range.

Like I said,I took a half of a Morphine pill twice....fuck that I felt poisoned.

Thanks Jane....they`re open tomorrow and I`ll be there.

I also looked into Pacreatic Enzyme tabs and mat get some of these after I do some research.

Today is the best I`ve felt in almost 2 solid months but I`m still in pain.

Great advice.....the top powerlifters cycle their training and don`t usually go for a max except in a meet.

Try high reps for a bit .....keep the resistance progressive,but never at the expense of form....a bit of body English is fine at times on certain things, but you have to decide if you want to be a bodybuilder or a powerlifter.

If you can only bench 200 pounds but look like you can bench 405....you`re good to go.

Make the reps hard....high reps doesn`t mean to use pussy poundages.......squeeze them out until the pain is insane,then do a few more.....fuck it....it`s only pain.

If you`re shooting for 8 reps....you should be dying on repn # 6.....same with 12 reps or whatever....HOMOESTASIS BRO....you have to make the body change cuz it doesn`t want to.

Rob might be too young to remember this, but I'm sure I recall some sort of bullshit article - maybe ghost-written for Mentzer?  Where he said actually you must always use progressive overload even when the plates weren't small enough.  I'm sure I remember the fucker suggesting we tape pennies on the ends of the bars or something - have I hallucinated this - anybody?

"They" say hypertrophy rep range is from 5-30

My chest seems to grow best in the 4-6 rep range and for me 20 reps is about max if I go to 30 it doesn't work as well as 20

On the machine dip I have to go to 10-12 because if I go to 4-6 the weight stack lifts me out of the seat, so I changed Thier rep range to 10-12 then once I get to max weight with 10-12 reps I'll increase the reps to 20 after that I will have no choice but to do weighted dips or just do another compound tricep exercise

On dumbbells I have to keep the rep range 8-10 because if I could get 6 and then jump the weight I'll only get maybe 2 or 3 reps

Anyways thanks for the feedback brother

8-12 reps or more for Pecs bro....how in hell are you gonna get a decent=nt pump doing 4 fucking reps.

Now I occasionally went 3-5 reps but not generally.

When I was competitively powerlifting as a really young guy....I always went way too heavy,way too often....if I missed a new PR on reps or a max I would storm out of the gym like a fool.

I had to learn that you have to listen to your body's feedback and gaining strength comes slowly.

Use your head bro....you just will burn out you CNS doing that shit too often and it`s bad for your enthusiasm....if you feel shitty cuz you missed reps with new or the same weight,you`ll stupidly try it again,or lose the desire to train.

That`s cool,whatever works for you...BUT......you muscles have to adapt....if your chest could talk it would say...."Here comes DJ...khe`s gonna` do the same shit he always does which I am used to"....so mix in high reps days to cause a different stimuli....then go heavy again....cycling poudage like Hatfield did.
