Bhanks - I'm a lawyer -
Between now and potentially you being admitted to the bar and getting a real job as a lawyer is at least 4 - 5 years if you have not taken the LSAT yet. Then if you fail the bar exam, you have to wait months to take it again. If you go to night law school - that is 3 instead of 4 years. So if you go during the day, you are not going to have employment for at least 3 years? All while accumulating a lot of extra debt you can't afford.
Smarten up. Law School is not for you.
I know you are a lawyer. I am signed up for the Sept 8th exam. I will apply early admission and should enrolled fall of 2025. It is a 3 year program. That means I graduate at 50. Why would I fail the bar exam? I can also work in the summer as a paralegal.
As far as debt I would take a government student loan. No payments are due until you graduate then your payment is based on your income. It is also fully forgivable if you work 10 years for the state. I would be living in the state capital. Or I could pay out of pocket or get a high paying corporate job to pay. There is such thing as tax and finance real estate investment trust law etc etc I do have additonal background in finance which would be complimentary to those things.
You are not my accountant do not presume to know what I can afford.
Also it would be FUN and my wife supports the idea I would be a fool not to go
One of them has the Law school next to the field house and gym
