Hey man it sounds great to me. I can't wait. But yeah they only have like 150 kids in a law class and there are only like 5 law schools in the state and 2 of them are highly ranked and will have lots out of state applicants.

So yeah I get They may not accept a 46 year old me into Law School doesn't mean I shouldn't apply. I apply for jobs I don't get all the time a couple law school rejections won't kill me. And maybe I "get lucky" and get accepted.

He is utterly clueless and delusional.   Unless he goes to a law school within driving distance of the unsold mansion or Raliegh  - he is going to have to live on campus.  Most real accredited schools don't do remote law school degrees.  So there is realistically the only 2-3 schools where he is residing.  If it is in Kitty Hawk that is 0.    That limits his realist options to what ?    I'm not doing the research for him.  He is not getting into Duke, NC Chapel Hill, or Wake Forest.  There appears 3 other lower tiers schools as well.   So if he doesnt get into those schools - WTF is he talking about? 

I live in NYC area - when i had a chance to go to law school, there were realistically a few options.  I was not getting into Columbia or NYU, but there was also Fordham, Brooklyn, CUNY, NY Law, Pace, Hofstra, St. Johns.  Most of the others would require me to take a real hike on the subway to get to.  Proximity matters given time to drive to campus, the amount of time needed to study, etc. 

Hankins and Em have not thought this through in any capacity whatsoever unless she has some other thought in mind.

Having to skip the gym on days because a practical was the next day or two.  Studying on weekends when other friends were out having cookouts.  The stress of just sitting through an exam itself.

One neuro-anatomy class had THREE tests for the whole class.  Two of which were 25 pts, the third was 50pts.  You don't do adequate on the first one, you're fucked.  One of the hardest was my part 4 national board radiology practical.  Go to one room, look at films, choose all of the findings.  Next station, go and answer all of the conditions associated with it.  One guy walked out after 10 stations.  He drove from Denver to take the exam. Yeah, thats something you can't just study for 2 weeks and get through.

Bhanky's not worried.  He'll study driving to the exam.
It'll be just like he dieted for the Charlotte Cup on the drive over.
He learned Calculus in one night.
Law school will be a cake walk for him.

School would start next fall. I would get in this winter. We would move next spring/summer. I can buy a house 2 blocks from law school if that is what I want to do. There is a law school in Raleigh, 2 in Durham, and 1 in Chapel Hill. The one in Raleigh is a block from my wife's office we could carpool and meet up for lunch for fuck sake.

UNC and Duke would be a stretch but I plan to apply to both. I am a legacy at Duke. The other 2 I should be able to get in one of them it kind of depends on my Lsat if I ace it why not UNC? Duke is epensive but UNC is public
