I have been putting my head on a tall stool and leaning over and doing internal and external hanging rotations a couple times a day. I have also been doing no weight bent over row motions. I have also been icing every couple hours with a shoulder specific ice brace I purchased. This morning I was able to lift the arm to 90 degrees. I have a ortho apt on Thursday.

I want an ongoing exercise to strengthen the rotator cuff area how do you feel about these?

So just forward push no backward pulls? I heard those were good for knees. I am wondering if a sled is a worthwhile investment. Will it go across my yard or a cement floor or do I need to install some kind of AstroTurf for it?

Rogue also has like 10 types of sleds. I want this for backward walking as well as forward pushing which is best? Think knee work and mobility and stability not super heavy work. Am I better off with one with wheels to push down the street like their tank sleds? Whats the difference?

Have your son or Em sit in the trike and you can push/pull them up and down the street while they put the brakes on.

I rode the trike the last 2 days with my son was awesome one of my favorite things to do with him. It puts us at the same height when we ride. Filmed the entire ride chatting and laughing with him. One of the best things I have ever bought. Raliegh has 35 miles of 10-foot-wide paved bike trail systems can't wait to explore them with him.  It also connects to other greenway trail systems you can bike for 100 miles on it if you so desire.

Clicked off in 2 sec because of what I saw.  I have ZERO idea what he was trying to do.  It surely wasn't something I would consider as a rehab exercise.  Saw what was on the stack and it was a typical meathead thinking the more weight the better the exercise.

Internal and external rotations?  You mean circular pendulum? 

Some EASY rehab exercises.   Note...you do NOT want to use much weight when rehabbing

He and I have been telling you for god knows how long that reverse pulls are great for knees.   

A sled is definitely worth the investment

You can use the sled on cement...that won't damage it.  Will made a lot of noise...but thats it.

Just get the Echo Dog sled with extra handles (pain in the ass spinning the damn sled)

Fuck the ones with wheels.  Torque tanks can go fuck off....not worth the money.

So you didnt watch and just assume you know everything. you act like I didnt go in for a torn rotator cuff at 17 years old to the DR and followed their rehab therapy and advice. I have had 7 orthopedic surgeries I have heard and seen a lot of weird rehab and a lot of it does not apply to someone like me. I have had Orthopedic Drs tell me the same thing no sling needed no rehab needed you are good to go.

I always keep an open mind in everything in life. I always seek out multiple sources with different views and perspectives. I try things and then decide for myself. I never assume anyone source is better or has all the answers. You can not just discount real world experience like that. Not everything in a book works the same in real life. I take the best from all sources.

I didn't watch it all, and no...I don't say I know everything.  Please point to where I even implied that.

He was doing NOTHING....just like I said, some meathead attempting to perform something he saw...and failing at it.  Like some drug abusing 20yo is going to know very much about rehabbing a shoulder. 

What could possibly NOT apply to you Brian?  Do you really understand why some say 'no rehab needed'?   The advice and therapy 30 years ago is NOT the same as today.  Congrats on being told no sling.  Wow...do you know why a sling is NOT very much indicated anymore?  Same reason why people aren't told to just "rest" a low back injury.  Your 'real work experience' is comparable to someone who does this stuff every day, week, and month for the last 20+ years?  Gotcha.

Most orthos (most likely surgeon) don't deal with rehab.  If they are surgeon....they slice and dice.  Sometimes its needed....sometimes its not. 

You're second paragraph is such bullshit.  You don't keep an open mind.  You shit on what SC and I do.  You have NEVER thought for a second that there would be some merit to it.  We tried helping you and suggesting things.  Remember, you aren't a 'mule'.....you're the 'thoroughbred'.  Right?
