Yeah your dad id also not built like me stop your nonsense who gives a fuck if a mule plows a field every day. You want thoroughbred race level performance you are going to need additional rest, recovery, and maintenance.
I was able to come back to full strength after 2 pec tears. I was not able to after 3 although I came back a long way. I have decided I want to try and come all the wy back. I need the repair to do that. Not sure why the hate. I also want to be able to train wihtout fear of a 4th tear. I like training. I would love to be able to do 100 sets of 100 reps on shoulders I can't same with chest same with legs. My joints simply cannot do it anymore but I am adapting my training and I do what I can and when I can do more I do more. But to deny I work hard and have spent my life training is nonsense.
Did you seriously just write that??
If you came back after 2 weeks to full strength....they were probably grade 1 strains. No way you're recovering in 2 weeks with grade 2 or 3.
You're joints can't handle it because you have the meathead mentality. Talking about doing 1rm now with all the shit you have going on is a recipe for another tear. I have said it before....I highly doubt you do the right stuff to warm up for any of your training. That means prepping hips, knees, ankles for squats. Your tendons and ligaments are not that of a 20yo.
Once again on the thoroughbred thing....thoroughbreds are well taken care of and aren't put through random bullshit that causes them injuries. Please stop comparing yourself to one.
