For the millionth time it is a 3 year program. You know my mountain bike also cost 4k but no one has an issue with that meanwhile I ride the trike all the time and never ride the mountain bike.
I have not been accepted anywhere yet though so really kind of pointless arguing about it. I may not even get in to Law school. I wasn't even sure I wanted to go just exploring options, but it is not an option unless you take the lsat. Now that I have taken it I want to apply. Once I see if I get in I will decide what I want to do.
You mention finances and that is something you don't know until you get in. At that time the school will tell you if they are awarding you any scholarship. At that time the government will tell you if you qualify for any loans. I am going to look at all of that before making a decision. However, you telling me that I can't do it is rather annoying I can do anything I want to do.
1) People know finances of schools because they go and visit with the school and talk with the admissions department. In case you didn't know this...summer time is travel time for a lot of students to go and visit schools they want to attend.
2) Most scholarships you have to apply for. Those that are awarded without that are done so for people who fit certain criteria. Does the SCN have a scholarship program?
3) Loans are applied for THEN you are told if you get them. Yes, some have criteria but its not "at that time" like you said. Thats why YOU talk with the financial aid department.
4) If you haven't looked into those things by now you are way behind.
No, you can't do anything you want to do. Get a wild hair (of the few you have left) and tell us you want to play in the NBA
