I have never applied for a single cent in VA benefits. I leave those funds for guys missing limbs. I may apply for VA benefits for school if I get in. They have a veteran's coordinator. I am supposed to get 25k in school money they told me when I signed up 20 plus years ago but 25k isn't going to cover Law School. Also I have not contacted the VA in 2 nearly 2 decades so no idea really. My wife keeps telling me to apply for disability as I am deaf in my left ear from the mortar systems also my knees are bad but were preexisting when I went in. I don't know she says to apply but I always took pride in not applying as other guys have real issues.

It works out really nice for me because instead of just getting Holiday or Summer weeks when everything is canceled, I get regular weeks as well when all his activities like scouts, soccer, swim practice are going on so I can participate in his activities.

He lives with his mom her sister and his grandparents. All 4 of them are teachers. His grandparents were headmasters and teachers at private school for 20 years before they retired. His mom and his aunt are both teachers. There are 4 people living in his moms house 3 of whom are not currently employed all of whom have degrees in education. I think they can manage his education just fine. He is way ahead of his age group in math and reading. I have 0 concerns about his academic success.
