Yep, but Christie would lose to Haley and DeSantis.
Probably, but maybe not. DeSantis popularity hasnt really held up nationally and the more exposure he gets, the worse he looks. Haley has been getting lots of hype but I don’t know much about her outside of her recent slavery gaffe. Christie isn’t a “hot” candidate but he’s a known quantity, one who’s already faced the scrutiny of a presidential campaign. Plus he’s the type of decorous, sensible politician that establishment types love.
I estimate a 1-5% chance Trump is not on the ballot in fall, and if that’s the case, I give Christie a 10% of ending up as president or VP. In light of those odds, I think he’s reasonable for staying in the race .. what else is he doing with his time

On a side note, this was Trumps response to Nikki Haley:
Trump on Nikki Haley not mentioning slavery when she was first asked about what caused the Civil War: “I don’t know that it’s going to have an impact, but, you know, I’d say slavery is sort of the obvious answer as opposed to about three paragraphs of bullshit."
He’s back, folks
